How the sort works
- A → Z uses natural order, so “file2” comes before “file10” and accents sort where you expect.
- Number ↑ / ↓ finds the first number in each line and sorts by it — handy for lines like “Order 1042 – Anil” or “₹ 2,500 rent”. Lines with no number go to the end.
- Shortest / Longest first sorts by line length, useful for headlines and ad copy.
- Shuffle gives a random order; press “Shuffle again” for a new one.
Common questions
Can I sort a column from Excel or Google Sheets?
Yes. Copy the column, paste here, copy the result and paste back. Each cell becomes one line.
Does it upload my list?
No. Sorting happens in your browser; nothing leaves your device.
