When you need this
Copy a paragraph from a PDF and paste it into an email or a document: every line ends with a hard break, so the text looks ragged and will not reflow. This tool removes those breaks and gives you proper paragraphs again.
Options
- Keep paragraphs joins the lines inside each paragraph but keeps a blank line between paragraphs. This is what you usually want.
- One block of text joins everything into a single paragraph.
- Join without spaces glues lines together with nothing in between — for codes, numbers or Chinese and Japanese text.
- Fix words split by “-” repairs words that a PDF broke across lines, like “docu- ment”.
Common questions
Does it change my words?
No. Only line breaks and spaces are touched; the fix-hyphen option only removes a hyphen that sits between two letters at a former line end.
Is my text uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
