Which case to use
- Sentence case — the first letter of each sentence is capital. Normal for paragraphs, emails and most headlines today.
- Title Case — main words capitalised, small words like "and", "of", "the" left lower. Used for book, film and article titles.
- Capitalize Each Word — every word capitalised, including small ones. Used for names and product labels.
- UPPERCASE — all capitals. Headings, signs, acronyms. Reads as shouting in messages.
- snake_case, kebab-case, camelCase — for file names, URLs and code variables.
Common questions
Can I convert a whole document?
Yes. Paste it in, click a case, then Copy or Download. Line breaks and paragraphs are kept.
Why did Title Case leave "of" in lower case?
That is the standard style rule: short joining words stay lower unless they are the first or last word. Use "Capitalize Each Word" if you want every word capitalised.
Does it handle accents and other scripts?
Yes for Latin scripts with accents, Greek and Cyrillic. Scripts without capitals, like Malayalam or Hindi, are left unchanged.
